Description
Cell Information: Human Osteoblasts (HOb) sythesize bone matrix. Matrix mineralization can be induced in the presence of ascorbic acid and B-Glycerophosphate. Hob are isolated from normal human bone. These cells are commonly used for micro- and macroscopic investigations of the skeletal system, such as the effects of inflammatory mediators, the effects of bone morphogenic proteins, the physiological control of bone remodeling, the regulation of bone metabolism, and the study of the chemicals associated with physical trauma. Applications:
The Transfection Reagent: Transfection of primary cells, such as HOb, has always been challenging, both technically and financially. The most common systems currently used for molecular delivery to these cells include expensive electroporation instruments and relatively toxic chemical formulations. Human Osteoblast (HOb, HOb-OA, HOb-RA, NHOst) Avalanche™ Transfection Reagent is a new, proprietary solution specifically designed for transfection on HOb. The proprietary formulation of lipids and polymers ensures the highest possible transfection efficiencies and viabilities for HOb. No other transfection reagents can match the efficiency, convenience, and gentleness of Human Osteoblast (HOb, HOb-OA, HOb-RA, NHOst) Avalanche™ Transfection Reagent for transfection on HOb.
