Description
The prostate consists of glandular epithelium embedded in a fibro-muscular stroma. The epithelium is composed of two histologically distinct layers. The secretory luminal layer is made up of tall columnar cells that are responsible for the production of PSA, PAP and human kallikrein-2 that are secreted as part of the seminal fluid into the glandular lumina. This layer of cells is underpinned by a basal layer of cuboidal epithelial cells.

The Transfection Reagent:
Transfection of primary cells, such as HPrEpC, is a problem in the laboratory routine and further in tissue engineering and gene therapy. Most methods working effectively for cell lines in culture fail to transfect primary cells.
Human Prostate Epithelial Cell (HPrEpC) Avalanche™ Transfection Reagent is a new class of unique chemical formulations specifically formulated and optimized for transfecting HPrEpC. The proprietary formulation of lipids and polymers ensures the highest possible transfection efficiencies and viabilities for HPrEpC. For details of the developing process of this reagent, please go to: How did EZ Biosystems develop Avalanche™ Cell type/cell line specific transfection reagent series?
Features:
- Specifically optimized to deliver nucleic acids into HPrEpC
- Highest efficiency to ensure experimental success
- Extremely gentle to cells
- Simplest and straightforward protocols
- Compatible with serum
- Compatible with transfection in any plate formats
- Reproducible: due to highly controlled chemical synthesis of each of the ingredients, the reagent forms uniformly sized complex particles with nucleic acids. With optimized protocol, our reagent will ensure the reproducible highest transfection results.
- Developed and manufactured by EZ Biosystems
